Repella to host hoops camp
STEUBENVILLE - The Liz Repella Girls Basketball Camp will be held from 9 a.m. to noon July 9-11 at Steubenville High School for those entering grades 6-9.
The cost is $50 per person and will include a T-shirt, daily prizes, giveaways and a pizza party.

Brooke to host hoops camp
WELLSBURG - The Brooke High School Basketball Camp will be held from 8 a.m. to noon June 14-15 for boys and girls in grades 3-8. The cost is $40 per person and $20 for additional family members. The camp will feature offensive and defensive fundamentals.
Spring Hills golf clinic set
EAST SPRINGFIELD - Spring Hills Golf Course will hold a junior golf clinic from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 5 and 7. The clinic is open to boys and girls ages 9-14. The cost of the clinic is $40 and includes a T-shirt and coupon for a free nine-hole round of golf (at a later date when accompanied by an adult).

McLaughlin records an ace
RICHMOND - Chris McLaughlin recorded a hole-in-one at Blackmoor Golf Club. The Gibsonia, Pa., resident used a pitching wedge on the 140-yard par 3 fifth hole.
The shot was witnessed by Mark Langhel, Larry Wesche and Dave Smith.
PAC to hold meeting
STEUBENVILLE - The Polish Athletic Club will hold its monthly meeting at 8 p.m. Thursday in the clubhouse.
JKYSC to hold tryout, sign-ups
WINTERSVILLE - The Jefferson Kiwanis Youth Soccer Club will hold tryouts from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday for the fall select program. Tryouts are scheduled for current and prospective players between the U10 and U14 age groups and U8 players wishing to participate in the U10 division.

The league is open to those children who turn 4 on or before July 31 and no older than 13 on July 31. Fees are $75 for fall and $38 for spring or $103 for both seasons. JKYSC also offers Select soccer and TOPSoccer program for challenged athletes.
