The Franciscan University Women's Scholarship Guild recently hosted its annual fundraiser to raise money for its scholarship for women over age 22 who have a need to complete a degree to gain employment or to be upgraded in their place of employment.
The evening featured a performance by the Youngstown Connection, a group of high school and college-age students who sing and dance to patriotic and Broadway music.
Attended by approximately 130 guest, the event also included prizes and a buffet.
