CARDUCCI, Donato "Danny", 79, of Steubenville, Ohio., passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at Valley Hospice.
He was born Nov. 30, 1932, in Pratola Peligna, Italy, a son of the late Gaetano and Emilia Rosati Carducci.
He was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel as a motor inspector in the 80 inch mill. Danny was a member of Triumph of the Cross Catholic Church (Holy Rosary), Knights of St. Anthony and Jeffersonian Lodge.

Surviving are his wife, Nancy J. Alberts Carducci whom he married on June 18, 1955; son, Danny G. (Roberta) Carducci of Columbus, Ohio; daughters, Terri (Dave) Yasho and Nannette (Andy) Neary both of Steubenville; eight grandchildren, Caroline (Chad) Heitmeyer, Christen (Brian) Taghon, Caitlin and Corinne Carducci; Bryan and Jennifer Yasho; and Luke and Mia Neary; great-grandchildren, Holden Heitmeyer and Benjamin Taghon; siblings, Lina Carducci of Steubenville, Rita Zavarella, Aldino (Anna) Carducci, Antonio (Nazarena) Carducci and Elsa (Francesco) Sforza all of Connecticut.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio, on Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Liturgy with Mass 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Rosary Church with Monsignor William Cornelius officiating. Entombment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Vigil service 3:45 p.m. Friday.
