DeMASIS, Phyllis Marlene, 79, of Weirton, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2012, at the Weirton Medical Center.
She was born on Jan. 15, 1933, the daughter of the late Ardith Elanor Thomas and Louis Charles Hartman.
On Feb. 5, 1955, Phyllis married Henry C. DeMasis in Winchester, Va. Henry passed away on June 15, 2010.
Phyllis was a homemaker as well as having been a member of Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church in Weirton. She was also a member of the VFW Women's Auxillary, the Tri-State Marine Corp Club Auxillary, and the Christian Mothers of Saint Paul Church.
Phyllis was a loving mother to her three chidren, Laura (Kenneth) Hirkala, Beth Demasis, and Rick (Donna) Demasis, all of Weirton. She is also survived by two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Steel and Wolfe Funeral Home, Inc., 3721 Main St., Weirton, on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held at Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, May 15, at 10 a.m.
Burial will follow at Saint Paul Cemetery Mausoleum.
