LEE, Bonnie Sue Riggs, 61, of Weirton, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on May 9, 2012, in Trinity West Hospital, Steubenville, Ohio. She was born Jan. 14, 1951, the daughter of Gloria Gable Riggs Six of Follansbee, W.Va.; and the late Glenn R. Riggs.
Surviving is her son Christian M. Riggs of Follansbee, W.Va.; a sister Sandra L. (Gary) Loar of Colliers, W.Va.; two brothers, Terry G. (Debbie) Riggs of East Liverpool, Ohio, and Scott (Renee) Riggs of Brandon, Fla. Five granddaughters; Dea Riggs, Paige Riggs, Alexia B. Riggs, Savena M. Riggs, and Lea Riggs, one grandson, Devon Riggs, and one great-grandson Gavin Elliot, an aunt Norma (John) Williams and uncle Milton Gable, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Bonnie was a member of the Weirton Heights Memorial Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Weir High School class of 1968 and The Weirton Beauty Academy.
She enjoyed writing poetry, crocheting and crafts. The Arner Funeral Chapel of Chester, W.Va.; is in charge of the arrangements. A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 14 at 11 a.m. at the Weirton Heights Memorial Baptist Church, 121 Ivy St., Weirton, W.Va.
