Wintersville Community Chapel, located at the corner of Bantam Ridge Road and Ward Drive in Wintersville, has launched its fourth-annual Lunch Bunch program.
Lunch Bunch, an outreach of the WCC Missionary Society, was founded by society President Terry Mantos in 2009. It originally was designed to feed school children over the summer, but has expanded to provide a free meal to anyone of any age.
The eat-in or take-out meal is served at the church every Friday between noon and 2 p.m. Lunch Bunch will run through the end of October.
A new feature this year is Chris' Corner, the idea of member Chris Anderson.
A free bag of groceries will be given to those who attend Lunch Bunch on the last Friday of every month.
