Neighbors

The Friends and Neighbors 4-H Club worked on a "Plants and Soil" project, decorated the planting pots and planted marigold seeds at the recent meeting held at the Colonial Baptist Church.

Lane Corder presided, and Andrew Constantine demonstrated how to set up a campfire.

The Cloverbud members discussed the Cloverbot Challenge and chose a team name, the Icy Legos. They will be working on a design for an ice cream machine. This will be presented at the Cloverbot Challenge in Columbus in June.

Melissa Harrah and Ethan Zifzal were assigned demonstrations for the May meeting.

The club will participate in Unionport's Memorial Day parade, and club T-shirts were ordered.

The next meeting will be May 15 at 6:15 p.m. at the Colonial Baptist Church.

Bits and Pieces

The Bits and PIeces 4-H Club met at the Glenn Mills Recreation Center with Jerry Ramsey, adviser, presiding.

Emma Scott gave a demonstration on how to take care of a pet pig, and Evan Longo did a health presentation on vitamin C, its advantages to the body and handed out oranges to members. Cloverbuds met with Lori Kinney, adviser, and project books will be distributed at the May meeting.
