To the editor:
On April 21, the GFWC Woman's Club of Mingo Junction held a Mystery Dinner Theater at Zalenski's Restaurant in Wintersville.
We are a part of the General Federation of Women's Clubs, which is an international women's organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. This fundraiser will help support our local projects such as Special Olympics, Urban Missions Ministries, Mingo Social Services, the annual Halloween party in Mingo Junction and buying Christmas gifts for 20 local children. We also presented a scholarship for a young woman to help defray costs at Eastern Gateway Community College. I would like to thank those who attended the dinner, Glenn Zalenski for accommodating our nonprofit organization and our club members for their hard work and dedication.
