GUZZETTA, Mary E., 93, of Steubenville, died Wednesday, May 9, 2012. She was born June 22, 1918, in Proctor, WV.
She is the daughter of the late Leo J. and Florence Cook Blatt. Mary is also preceded in death by her husband; Alfred Guzzetta, her two son's, Joseph Lee and Alfred G. Guzzetta, her great-grandson, Trent Alfred Wigginton and her two brothers, Charles and Francis Blatt.
Mary was a homemaker and a member of Triumph of the Cross Catholic Church.
Surviving are her four daughters; Linda (Joseph) Bress of Follansbee, Joan (Gilbert) Feth of Steubenville, Yvonne (Thomas) Bedore of Follansbee and Dena (James) Jackson of Richmond; one sister, Jean (Nicholas) Frohnapfel of Proctor, WV; five grandchildren, Phyllis Mattmiller, Amy Howenstine, Shelly Stredney, Scott Bedore and Ed Wigginton; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great- granddaughter due any day now.
Mary loved spending time with her family and quilting.
Calling hours are today 5-8 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd. Steubenville. There will be a vigil service today at 5 p.m. A funeral liturgy with mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Fr. Tom Nau, celebrant. Entombment in High Land Hills Memorial Gardens.
