HUBBARD, Mrs. Barbara Jean, 70, of Steubenville, Ohio, died May 4, 2012, in Trinity Medical Center, West, Steubenville, Ohio.
She was born Sept. 4, 1941, in Gordon, Ala., daughter of the late Issac and Mamie Wilson Montgomery.
She was a 1959 graduate of Steubenville High School; graduate of Jefferson Technical College; Co-owner and operator of P.J.'s Janitorial Services; a charter member of Mt. Carmel Community Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Edward Montgomery and one sister, Rose Farmer.
Surviving are her husband, James D. Hubbard of Steubenville; three daughters, Lorrie (Kevin) Jarrett, Steubenville, Rene'e (Dale) Callahan, Steubenville, Stephanie (John) Mayfield, Romulus, Mich.; one brother, James Montgomery, Beaver, Pa.; five sisters, Olivia Whetstone, Steubenville, Dr. Faye Johnson, Blacklick, Ohio, Marsha (Jerome) Wicker, Elyria, Ohio, Bessie (LeRoy) Bolton, Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Jacqueline (Bill) Henning, The Villages, Fla.; one grandson, Jock Mayfield; four granddaughters, Tianna and Ashton Cobb, Michelle Mayfield and Brianne Harton; two great-granddaughters, Jada Harton and Mya Styles.
Calling hours are Thursday, May 10, 2012, at Mt. Carmel Community Baptist Church from 6-8- p.m.
Services are Friday, May 11, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Community Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Thomas.
