STEUBENVILLE - The city's annual bulk pickup will continue Saturday on the south side of Sunset Boulevard from McCauslen Manor to the west city limits.
"We will be collecting household items on May 12 on all Pleasant Heights streets and finally on May 19 on all streets on LaBelle," added Street and Sanitation Superintendent Bob Baird.
"This collection is for household items only. All items should be placed at the curb where regular trash collection takes place every week. The items should be done on Friday nights prior to the scheduled collection. Once the scheduled collection takes place we will not make return trips," stated Baird.
"Restricted items include tires, electronic items including computers and televisions, any appliance containing freon including refrigerators, freezers, air conditioning units and dehumidifiers. We will also not pick up hazardous wastes such as fuels, oils, solvents and paint or any construction material including shingles, concrete, blocks or bricks," noted Baird.
