BAKER, Bernard William "Bud," age 70, of Toronto (Costonia), Ohio, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at his home.

He was born Aug. 31, 1941, in Costonia, Ohio, the son of the late Bernard Samuel and Celestia Monigold Baker.

Bud was a former member of the Pottery Addition Volunteer Fire Department and loved to fix things and to farm.

He is retired from the former Flynn Heating and Air Conditioning Company of Steubenville.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Judith Kay "Judy" McMannis Baker whom he married Oct. 21, 1963; daughter, Teresa Kay "Terry" (Dick) Larkins; sons, Kenneth William Baker, Sr.; Jeffery Allen Baker; brother, Walter King Baker; sisters, Katherine (Terry) Thompson, Mary Monigold and Judy (Ed) Merritt all of Toronto, Ohio; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren also survive.

Friends and family will gather for visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday May 4, at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto. 740-537-1234 or 1-800-847-1240.

A celebration service of Bud's life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 5 at the funeral home with Pastor Raul Diaz officiating.

Burial will follow at the Center Chapel Union Cemetery.

Friends and family will gather for a funeral luncheon at the Cornerstone Church, 423 Clark St., Toronto, following services for Bud.
