Cited: Therese M. Dye, 34, 417 Union Ave., Steubenville, no vicious dog insurance or animal registration.
Animal problem: A resident reported a bat flying in her house in the 100 block of Brayburton Boulevard at about midnight Friday. A city officer captured the bat and released it outside.
Attempted breaking and entering: Several screen windows of a home in the 500 block of Ross Street appeared to have been tampered with between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. Friday.
Jefferson County sheriff
Breaking and entering: A front window was broken out at a home on township Road 134 in Dillonvale Friday. Nothing appeared to be missing.
Follansbee
Arrested: Dustin L. Snodgrass, 22, 942 Highland St., Follansbee, disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer, Wednesday.
Cited: Angela Christine Odonnel, 40, 146 Forest Lane, Follansbee, expired registration and no proof of insurance; and Tanner Young Platter, 20, 200 Mar Lou Lane, Wellsburg, speeding.
