To the editor:
Last year I had the opportunity to be a part of the orchestra for the musical presented by the music and drama groups at Brooke High School. I wanted to share that I was truly impressed by those young students who worked so hard and did an excellent job. The production was great in every way. The teachers and students spent many hours after school and on weekends preparing for the show. There were also many behind the scenes people who did much work because they truly enjoyed it.
I am very proud of these young students who work so hard.
At this time, much preparation is going on for the production of "Guys and Dolls." The students are working again with the same enthusiasm and excitement. They are being encouraged by many of the faculty at Brooke High School. Thank you, Nick Taylor, Carla Stone, Erin Steffey, John Zumpetta, Emily Yost and the many others who are there to support and encourage this crew.
The music, drama and fine arts departments touch many lives, and those people will benefit from these events for many years to come.
"Guys and Dolls" will be presented at Brooke High School April 26-28. Please don't miss this great show.
