STEUBENVILLE -- ThE five mill real estate levy renewal was officially introduced Tuesday at the city council sunshine meeting.

The levy renewal will be on the November ballot.

Also proposed during the sunshine meeting was a resolution accepting and reserving the transfer of a C class liquor permit for the Hartley Group for an economic development project at the BP gas station on South Third Street.

Third Ward Councilman Greg Metcalf introduced an emergency ordinance authorizing the hiring of the W.E. Stillson Consulting Company to serve as the consultant for the University Boulevard and Brady Avenue repaving project slated for 2013.
