Sylvia Teeman

TEEMAN, Sylvia Eileen "Peg" Gamble, 85, of Beacon House, St. Clairsville, Ohio, formerly of Dallas Pike, W.Va., passed away on Friday, April 13, 2012, at Wheeling Hospital.

She was born in Marshall County, W.Va., Oct. 17, 1926, daughter of the late William and Lilley Remke Gamble.

Mrs. Teeman was retired from the Ohio County Board of Education as a kindergarten teacher's aide at Woodsdale Elementary School and she was a member of the Roney's Point United Presbyterian Church.

"Peg" will be sadly missed by family and friends, especially her friends at the Beacon House, with whom she spent countless enjoyable moments.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank William "Bill" Teeman Jr., in 1996; her daughter, Nancy Jane Anido; three brothers; and two sisters.

Surviving are her son, Robert William Teeman and his wife, Annette of St. Clairsville, Ohio; a son-in-law, Armondo "Armie" Anido, of Philadelphia, Pa.; six grandchildren, Robert, Doug, and Andrea Teeman, Betsy Hamilton, A.J. and Andrew Anido; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Anderson of Baltimore, Md.

Friends will be received from noon-4 p.m. on Sunday, April 15, 2012, and again on Monday, April 16, 2012, from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at the Kepner Funeral Home, (304-242-2311), 166 Kruger St., Elm Grove, Wheeling, with the Rev. Jay McMillen officiating. Interment in West Alexander Cemetery, West Alexander, Pa.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, 1275 York Ave., New York, NY 10065.
