To the editor:
The Indian Creek Local School District levy that didn't pass on March 6 was not only for a new high school, but it was also an operating levy for the district. Now the school board is forced to make personnel cuts, which will include teachers.
So tell me how children are expected to get a good education with fewer teachers? Classroom sizes will increase, which means more bad news for students. One building is closing this year and another at the end of next school year.
I don't want to pay higher taxes either, but I think the education of my three children is worth it as much as all the children in Indian Creek.
