The Dillonvale Rosebuds Garden Club will meet April 18 at 7 p.m. at the Dillonvale Presbyterian Church. The roll call for the evening will be "Name a tree that is not used for making furniture."
Mary Arnold will read the monthly tip on the American chestnut.
Cathy Anderson, master gardener, will conduct the program on "Grasses for the Garden." The exhibit by the members will be handmade garden tags.
Hostesses will be Marian Pastre, Dorothy Molnar and Barb Harrah. There also will be a plant and seed exchange chaired by Ann Grayzar.
The club recently held a spring design workshop, led by Nina Cleaver, at the church. Members made wreaths with a grapevine base, with pansies and pepperomia.
Among those attending the workshop were Darwin Burge, Linda Burge, Gloria Bartezell, Jodi Russell, Mary Ann Arnold, Lois Jean Kniszek, Mary Jane Westling, Jan Jackson, Kathy Brown and Linda Wilson.
