STEUBENVILLE - The Weirton Madonna boys tennis team defeated host Steubenville Big Red, 4-1, Tuesday at Belleview Park.
Big Red's lone win came when Hannah Meyer and Tyler Casto beat Dustin Parr and David Cullinan 6-1, 6-0.
In singles play, Madonna's Nick Conforti beat Aaron Bottegal 7-5, 6-0; Matt Conforti defeated Michael Nodianos 7-5, 6-2 and Dom Clements topped Josh Fordhan 6-4, 6-4.
The Blue Dons' last point came when Anthony Clements and Alan Alimario blanked Michael Petrides/Brandon Llewellyn 6-0, 6-0.
Big Red (2-6) travel to Morgantown and University today for a tri-match.
