HOOBLER, Donald R., 53, of Cadiz, formerly of Hopedale, died Sunday at Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville.
He was born July 18, 1958, in Georgia, a son of the late C. Raymond and Carolyn E. Wilson Hoobler.
Don was a school bus mechanic at Harrison Hills City School District for 30 years. He was a member of the First Church of Christ in Hopedale and was an off-road enthusiast and liked to tinker in his garage.
Surviving are his wife, Sue Phillips Hoobler; three sons, Jered (Andrea) Hoobler of Zanesville, Jason (Jennifer) Hoobler of N. Lawrence, Ohio, and Justin (Heather) Hoobler of Jewett; six grandchildren; and a sister, Christine (Joe) Brown of Hopedale.
Friends may call Wednesday, 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. with Dean Blythe officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
