KOSTELNIK, Helen M., 88, of Bergholz, Ohio, died Thursday, April 5, 2012, at Trinity West.
She was born Jan. 18, 1924, in Steubenville, Ohio, a daughter of the late John and Susan Brondos Majeros. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church and Mary Bethany Guild. Helen was preceded in death by her brother John Majeros. Helen was a homemaker and shared her exceptional cooking and baking skills with her devoted family and friends.
Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Milton Kostelnik; two children Wayne (Cindy) Kostelnik of Wintersville and Beverly Slaggy of Heath, Ohio; sister Susan Bruno of Steubenville; five grandchildren Susan (Steve) Herbster, Steven (Lori) Slaggy, April (Rob) Pearce, Amber Nelson & Christopher (Kim) Kostelnik; and five great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, on Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
On Tuesday, friends may call at St. Mark Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. with Vicar Eric Rapp officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery.
