Arrested: Donald P. Knollinger, 48, 99 Link St., Weirton, operating a vehicle under the influence and failure to control after police reported Knollinger's vehicle went off the side of the road in the 2100 block of Sunset Boulevard around 11:06 p.m. Saturday and went through the landscaping outside McDonald's and hit a small tree.
Vandalism: Pickup truck window broken in the 500 block of Belleview Boulevard, Saturday.
Cited: Samantha J. Taylor, 28, 1321 Oregon Ave., stop sign; Eugene Hopkins, 21, 1609 Moreland Drive, no operator's license; Lawrence K. Burke, 63, 105 George St., stop sign; Michelle L. Kirkbride, 20, 2721 Lafayette Blvd., red light; Ricca Simes, 20, 423 Dresden Ave., underage consumption and speeding; and Alyssia Milano, 22, 1098 Claire Ave., littering from a motor vehicle.
Arrested: Ivan D. Morgan, 32, 360 Orchard Place, bench warrant out of municipal court and driving with a suspended license, Saturday.
Shot fired: Police received a report of a gunshot fired in the 400 block of Union Avenue around 10:30 p.m. Saturday. Officers checked the area and didn't find any evidence of a shot fired.
Arrested: Amanda M. Elder, 26, 713 Lincoln Ave., driving with a suspended license and bench warrants out of municipal court and Belmont County, Sunday.
Assault: Police received a report of a man assaulted Sunday evening at a house in the 100 block of North Sixth Street. Another person told officers the man was being transported to Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, with head and neck injuries, and the victim didn't want police involved.
Arrested: John Painter, 35, 606 Arden Ave., domestic violence, today.
Theft: Vehicle entered on Ross Street today and GPS unit taken.
