MINGO JUNCTION - Jordyn Figel and Stephen Berardino were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. on July 9 at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, with the Rev. Jason Elliott officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. John and Bonnie Figel of Mingo Junction. The groom is the son of Gerard and Nanette Berardino of Monroeville, Pa.
Escorted down the aisle and given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline and a cathedral-length veil. She carried a bouquet of white roses, hydrangeas, calla lilies and peonies.

The matron of honor was Jamie McGinnis. The bridesmaids were Ali Prolago, Natosha Vieson, Renee Wurstner, cousins of the bride; Haley Pilston, cousin of the the groom; Leigh Ann Hauck, Kaitlin Daniels, Angela Neading, Calie Simari, Mandy Graef, Stephanie Cohen, Nikki Daskalakis and Ashley Carroll.
The best man was Alex Berardino, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Jonathan Figel, brother of the bride; Matt Houy, cousin of the groom; Brian Duncan, cousin of the bride; Ben McGinnis; Dave Warnick; Pete Friedmann; Andrew Janitzski; Brian Dietrich; Greg Rutkowski; Andrew Hootman; Mike Williams; Rob Carroll; and Frank Prolago, Paul Grinch, Sean Grinch and Chase Grinch, cousins of the bride; and Matt Lucas, cousin of the groom.
The flowergirls were Malaina McDonald and Rilyn Grinch, cousin of the bride. The ring bearers were Cade Wurstner and Walker Vieson, cousins of the bride.
A reception was held at the Archie Griffin Grand Ballroom at the Ohio Union. The couple honeymooned in Maui, Hawaii.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Indian Creek High School and a 2009 graduate of Ohio State University, where she received a bachelor's degree in strategic communications and history. She is pursuing a law degree at Capital University Law School in Columbus.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Gateway Senior High School and received a bachelor's degree of science in psychology and history from OSU in 2008. He is pursuing a law degree at Capital University Law School.
The couple are candidates for graduation from Capital in May.
The couple reside in Columbus.
