WEIRTON - Joseph and Barbara Burdine of Weirton announce the engagement of their daughter, Tonya Jo, to Andrew Tilley, son of Lonnie and Lucinda Tilley of Oceana, W.Va.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Brooke High School who graduated with honors from Marshall University in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in education. She is pursuing her master's degree. She is a music teacher in the middle schools of Cabell County, W.Va., and is the music director at the Fourth Avenue United Methodist Church of Huntington, W.Va.
He is a 2008 graduate of Marshall University with a bachelor's degree in education and is working toward his master's degree. He is a teacher for Cabell County schools.
