Flash mob benefits United Way

Indian Creek fourth through sixth-grade pupils joined in a flash mob Friday night during halftime of the Indian Creek High School boys basketball game against Martins Ferry. The high school Key Club organized the event and pupils paid $1 to participate with proceeds being donated to the United Way of Jefferson County. The United Way has reached 96.9 percent of its goal of $430,000. The last day to make donations will be Wednesday. For information, visit the website at or call (740) 284-9000.
