City left good impression

February 12, 2012
The Herald-Star

To the editor:

I wanted to compliment and thank the City of Steubenville for hosting me and my colleagues of the 129th General Assembly for the State of the State address Tuesday afternoon. Rarely do residents outside of Columbus get an opportunity to experience a governor's address, and I was thrilled to see so many residents of the community in attendance. I truly enjoyed speaking with several of the Steubenville High School students who were in attendance.

I also want to thank state Sen. Lou Gentile, D-Steubenville, state Rep. Jack Cera, D-Bellaire, and Mayor Domenick Mucci for all the work they and the local businesses put in to provide such a warm welcome. It was wonderful to see firsthand what the senator and representative are always bragging about.

Thank you, again, to the businesses and residents of Steubenville for hosting the State of the State and giving me and my colleagues a chance to experience what makes your city so great.

State Rep. Michael Stinziano

Columbus
