Buckeye to hold shootout

FUS men still winless

HAMBURG, N.Y.- Franciscan University of Steubenville men's basketball team dropped an 89-32 decision to host Hilbert College Saturday.

Freshman Nolan Albrecht led the Barons with 15 points and seven rebounds. The Hawks scored 29 points off of turnovers.

The Barons (0-20, 0-14) visit Penn State Altoona at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Softball league seeks players

STEUBENVILLE - The Ohio Valley Senior Softball League is seeking players and teams for its men's 50-and-over league. The cost is $25 per player to cover cost of fields, umpires and game balls. Licensed softball umpires and U.S. Senior Softball Association rules will be used. Games will beplayed Monday through Friday evenings.
