Chaney — Adams

TORONTO - Trista Renee Chaney and Matthew James Adams were united in marriage on Sept. 10 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in East Liverpool. The Rev. William M. Bill Lies, C.S.C., of the University of Notre Dame officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and Betsy Chaney of Toronto. The groom is the son of Marty and Patti Adams of Salineville.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. The bride wore a white gown with a crossover strapless draped tunic bodice and chapel train. She carried a bouquet of white oriental lilies and blue and white dendrobium orchids, with peacock feathers scattered throughout.

Sisters of the bride Erika Gainer of Kent and Emily Chaney of Daytonserved as matron and maid of honor, respectively. Bridesmaids were Dipali Adams of Cincinnati, sister-in-law of the bride; Sheila Downs of Cleveland; and Julie Cameron of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Ava Gainer, niece of the bride, served as flower girl.

Brother of the groom Joshua Adams of Cincinnati served as best man. Groomsmen were Thomas Gainer of Kent, brother-in-law of the bride; Jason Smith of Akron; Charles Gough and Joseph Campbell of Chicago; Douglas Farmer of Honolulu, Hawaii; and Jason Shontz of San Francisco.

Mason Gainer and Parker Adams, nephews of the groom, served as ring bearers.

A reception followed at the Pittsburgh Airport Hyatt.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Nanuya Island, Fiji and Maui and Kuai, Hawaii.

The bride is employed as a staff attorney at the Immigration Reform Law Institute in Washington, D.C.

The groom is employed as an accountant for PricewaterhouseCoopers in the D.C. metro office. The couple reside in Washington, D.C.
