Tate — Cunningham

NEW CUMBERLAND - St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in East Liverpool was the setting for the June 25 wedding that united Jennifer Tate and Brian Cunningham. The 3:30 p.m. ceremony was officiated by the Revs. Charles Thomas and Jeffrey Baker.

The bride is the daughter of Hugh and Tina Tate of New Cumberland. The groom is the son of Gary and Mary Kay Cunningham of Chester.

Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride chose a full bustled gown with dipped neckline and a bustled train. She carried a bouquet of stargazer lilies and assorted pink roses accented with pearls and crystals.

Amanda McKinney of Weirton, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Morgan Whittaker of Chester; Jamie Pierce of New Cumberland, cousin of the bride; Amber Moore of Kingwood; Makenzie Hines of New Cumberland, cousin of the bride; and Emily Zozula of Claysville.

Hugh Tate Jr. of Chester, twin brother of the bride, was the best man.

Groomsmen were Scott Little and Brandon Woofter, both of New Cumberland; Jeremy Krzys of Newell; and Nick Benavides, Aaron Beaumont, John Robinson and Dante DiJirolanio, all of Chester.

Cousins of the bride Harley Ireland and Pamela Wickham were the flower girls. Virgil Wickham IV was the ring bearer.

Following a reception at the Serbian American Cultural Center in Weirton, the couple honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of Oak Glen High School and a 2010 graduate of West Liberty University with a bachelor's degree in nursing.

She is employed by Weirton Medical Center.

The groom is a 2003 graduate of Oak Glen High School and a 2008 graduate of the West Virginia State Police Academy.

He is employed by the Hancock County Sheriff's Department.

The couple live in Chester.
