WINTERSVILLE - Frank and Rita France celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on April 16 with a dinner reception at Blessed Sacrament Church/Sargus Hall. The party was hosted by their seven children.
They were married on April, 15, 1941, in the rectory of St. Elizabeth's Church in Baltimore.
A Navy veteran, he was a carpenter who worked for Alexander Lumber, several local construction companies and contracted independently throughout the Tri-State Area.

They have been members of Blessed Sacrament Church for 53 years.
Thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren complete the family.
