Brooke Hills Free Methodist Church
Brooke Hills Free Methodist Church at 1340 Washington Pike, Wellsburg, will be having an Easter egg hunt for children, ages 10 and under, on Saturday at 11 a.m.
Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m., and there is no cost to participate. In addition to the children's activities there will be prize drawings for adults who are present.
Fort Steuben Burial Estates
The 22nd-annual Easter egg hunt will be held Palm Sunday, April 17 at Fort Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville, beginning at 2 p.m. sharp.
It is a rain-or-shine event open to area children from age 2 to 10.
Each child will receive a small gift bag and a basket in which to collect eggs and keep.
Grand prizes will be awarded in three age groups with other prizes also to be awarded. The Easter Bunny will be on hand at the hunt, which is held on the cemetery grounds near the new mausoleum.
Signs will be posted for each age group - ages 2-3, 4-6 and 7-10.
Irondale Fire and Rescue
The Irondale Fire and Rescue community pancake breakfast featuring the Easter Bunny as a special guest will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Irondale Village Building.
Breakfast will be by donation with the Easter egg hunt to follow promptly at noon at the Irondale Village Park. There will be prizes.
In the event of inclement weather, the egg hunt will be held at the Irondale Village Building. Participants are reminded to bring a camera to have a picture taken with the Easter Bunny.
Port Homer Community Church
Port Homer Community Church is having an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday at noon.
It is a free event open to children up to age 12. There will be prizes, refreshments and other activities.
