Planning commission grants lot split
WINTERSVILLE - The village planning commission recently granted a lot split at 100 Main St.
Village business owner Derek Ferguson was on hand to ask the commission for permission to split his lot, of which he plans to sell a piece of to McDonald's.
"Ferguson owns the property that Riesbeck's sits on and he wants to sell property in the front parking lot to McDonald's," explained Chuck Antill, village code enforcement officer. "He had to meet with the commission for us to give him the OK, so then the courthouse downtown can record it for tax purposes.
Antill said McDonald's construction start date is slated for March 2011.
