Ashley Pehanich, Zane Boyd

BLOOMINGDALE - Robert and Sherri Pehanich of Bloomingdale announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Pehanich, to Zane Boyd, son of Raymond and Cathy Boyd of Bergholz.

The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Indian Creek High School. She received her bachelor's degree in criminal justice from West Liberty University and finished the Eastern Gateway Community College Police Academy in May. She is pursuing a job in law enforcement.

Her fiance is a 2005 graduate of Edison High School and is in the Coast Guard Reserves. He is employed by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.

The couple plans to be married March 5 at the United Methodist Church in Bergholz.
