Striders to hold sign-ups
STEUBENVILLE - Registration for the Steuben Striders summer track program will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Eastern Gateway Community College for youth ages 5-18. The cost is $30 per child. Parents are asked to bring a birth certificate for first-time runners.

Junior golf league at Red Oaks
UNIONPORT - Red Oaks Golf Course will hold a junior golf league. The event will begin on May 6 and it will feature two divisions (ages 10-14 and 15-17.) Players may sign up for the 17-year-old division as long as they are still enrolled in high school. The cost is $25, which includes the clinic, hot dogs, chips and a soda. It is limited to the first 50 players to register.

Golden Bears win three matches
PARKERSBURG - The Oak Glen boys tennis team won three matches Saturday at Parkersburg City Park. The Golden Bears defeated Williamstown and St. Marys (5-2) and Parkersburg Catholic (7-0).
Brandon Whittaker, Tyler Brown and Zach Brown won all three of their singles matches, while Jesse Beilhart went 1-2.
Brown and Brown and Justin Icard and Jake Beilhart won their three doubles matches, while Whittaker and Jesse Beilhart were 1-2.
Rokisky takes third
GREENSVILLE, Pa. - Sophomore Ryan Rokisky highlighted a strong day for the Bethany College golf team by shooting 78 to tie for third place at the Thiel Invitational Saturday.
Paced by Rokisky's top score of the season, the Bison finished fourth out of seven by scoring 337 as a team to place ahead of Waynesburg (347), Thiel (357) and Pitt-Greensburg (362). Grove City took first place as a team by scoring 331 to edge out Westminster by three strokes.
