WELLSBURG - Karen L. and Stephen M. Jasko Jr. of Wellsburg celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary today.
They were united in marriage Dec. 6, 1969, at the former St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Wheeling.
She is the daughter of the late Warren and Dorothy Miller McMillan and is retired from Brooke County schools.

Jasko is the son of Catherine Duplaga Jasko of Wheeling and the late Stephen Jasko Sr. He is retired from Weirton Steel Corp.
They have three children: Stephanie Phillips of Wellsburg, Adrienne Girod of Mount Lebanon, Pa., and Stephen III of Wheeling. They have six grandchildren.
A family celebration was held in their honor at Stratford Springs Restaurant in Wheeling.
