SELMAN, Jeffrey Scott, 21, of Mingo Junction, Ohio, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2009, in the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born November 25, 1987, in Steubenville, Ohio.
Jeffrey had been a member of the LaBelle View Church of Christ of Steubenville.
He loved animals and was an employee of the Weirton Wal-Mart store.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Herman Lindsay and an uncle, Bob Minto.
His survivors are his parents, John J. and Darlene R. Lindsay Carducci of the family home; brother, James Edwin Selman Jr. and fiancee' Katherine Dougherty of Wintersville, Ohio; nephew, Rylee Selman, and niece, Alaycia Selman; sister, Kimberly Virginia White of the family home; Jeffrey's best friend, Daniel Doty of Mingo Junction, Ohio; his maternal grandmother, Helen Lindsay of Toronto, Ohio; his maternal grandfather, Kirk Critser of Toronto; Jeffrey's fiancee', Kaylan Ginier of Steubenville, Ohio; aunts, Tammy Fincher and family of Las Vegas, Nev., and Cristene Anderson and family of Mingo Junction; and uncles, Jeffrey Lindsay and family of Mingo Junction, and Scott Lindsay and family of New Mexico.
Friends and family will gather for visitation 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto. 740-537-1234 or 800-588-1446.
A service for Jeffrey will be held 11 a.m. Friday July 31, 2009, at the funeral home with Pastor Robert Minto officiating.
Burial will follow at the Fort Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville.
