May 4, 2014

To the editor: Voter fraud determines democracy — one vote can determine the path a nation will take after the election. To date, 46 states have prosecuted and convicted cases of voter fraud....

"You guys are really nuts. Bio Metrics costing taxpayers, You claim voter fraud, but you don't want it fixed due to money"

Wrong. Again.

It is very simple, eb. Why spend all that taxpayer money when a simple photo ID would work just fine?

"I don't have an I.D. issue. My military I.D. works just fine"

I love it when a liberal proves himself wrong.

"what about those "other" who can't produce photo I.D.?"

They go get a picture taken. Cost: $5-$20 at the DMV. Far less than millions of dollars for fingerprinting, and the tens of thousands of fingerprint readers at every voting station. Lefties are going door-to-door signing up voters. Take a camera!

"Since we are talking photo I.D. I am sure your photo your DL does not match your appearance from 4 years ago."

No plastic surgery here. A few more gray hairs, a few less pounds, but I look the same as 4 years ago.

I don't have an I.D. issue. My military I.D. works just fine, but what about those "other" who can't produce photo I.D.? THAT is the issue at hand. If a state wants everyone to have a photo I.D., they should pay for that to happen. Since we are talking photo I.D. I am sure your photo your DL does not match your appearance from 4 years ago. bio metrics takes care of that issue as well.

You guys are really nuts. Bio Metrics costing taxpayers, You claim voter fraud, but you don't want it fixed due to money. Bio metrics is about photos, finger prints, etc. Its electronic, and less expensive to maintain a voter data base. "Pop a finger down" and we know its you. Real simple. Paranoia will get you everytime.

Yes, Ms. Mills. With our technology we should be able to keep up with our citizens' life events, but that would require a central federal voter database. That would be... progress. That would be... fought tooth and nail against by certain paranoid segments of the population. We can see into other galaxies but we can't get deceased Uncle John off the voters roll. Sad but true.

I'm not understanding you liberals here. Why have a biometric system? Will that not cost taxpayers millions of dollars? The government cannot create a working website, what makes you think they could enter fingerprints correctly? Why not use the tried and true method of photo I.D.'s? Why are those things taboo? Might it be because democrats would not get the "dead vote?" Also EB, we should be keeping eyes on our government. It has gotten too big, too powerful, and overstepped it's bounds too many times. The founding fathers knew this.

Biometrics for security that is used hundreds of times a day in select locations could be useful. Biometrics that would be used once or twice a year by thousands or millions would be tremendously costly and maintenance intensive.

If voters can't get a simple picture, how do you propose getting everyone fingerprinted?

Share West's "crazy views".

People do have UPS boxes, but they don't live in them.

Please share Fox's conspiracy theories.

If you can't, we'll consider these latest unsupported claims with the dozens of others you failed to support.

And who wants the government to have their fingerprints?

Biometrics would simplify all this voter fraud BS.

West "military" service to this country is not in question. His service in congress and his crazy views are in question. Don't confuse the two. A lot of people have UPS mail boxes. Sometimes they are closer to their homes than the USPS. I am considering getting one. You still have to show I.D. to get one. Let this nut find another conspiracy theory along with fox.

"I don't think changing the rules are ethical as the voter fraud is geared toward individuals who will probably vote democrat."

Now, eb, I'm sure there are a couple of Republicans who partake in voter fraud, also.

"Here we go with the faux BS ALONG with that nut allen west. You talk of voter fraud, but your feat of the government with bio metrics puts you in that area of blocking people from voting and complaining of fraud."

Huh? I think I deciphered part of that. You claim it is BS. Fair enough. Show us proof. OK? Otherwise, we can disregard it, same as your other outlandish claims.

"with that nut allen west."

Showing your racism AGAIN, eb? Shame on you. And slamming yet ANOTHER serviceman?

FYI, West's awards and decorations include the Bronze Star; Meritorious Service Medal (two Oak Leaf Clusters); Army Commendation Medal (three Oak Leaf Clusters, one Valor Device); Army Achievement Medal (one Oak Leaf Cluster); Valorous Unit Award; Air Assault Badge; and the Master Parachutist Badge.

Shame, eb, SHAME!!! Calling a hero a nut?

If the states want photo ID. Let the state pay for them and not make them inconvenient. You know its all about voter suppression, but I will keep this real. Everyone knows when voting is taking place and they should all prepare for that. I don't think changing the rules are ethical as the voter fraud is geared toward individuals who will probably vote democrat.

eb, we don't need high-tech fingerprinting. Besides, that would be a severe privacy issue. A simple picture ID would suffice. The same folks you liberals claim can't get a picture ID have no problem getting an ID for food stamps, welfare, and Medicaid. If a picture ID is a problem to vote, why haven't liberals organized a voter ID picture campaign?

Because it is not their true agenda, that's why. If it were, the fix wou

Get off fox and quit listening to drug boy and other wing nuts. Get the real facts. IF AMERICANS WERE SO NOT PARANOID OF THE GOVERNMENT, the fix would be easy. Today's technology allows for bio metric identification. A simple finger print FIXES fraud. How come voter fraud advocates won't push this agenda. The truth is to keep people from voting using FALSE claims of voter id fraud. Pretty simple solution don't you think.
