To the editor: I understand the Edison Local School District needs more money, but the elderly can’t afford a big tax increase....

Hey it's only 57 cents a day for the owner of a $100,000 home. What can you buy for 57 cents? Not a Lot.

However, 57 cents a day equates to slightly more than $200 per year.. What can you buy for $200 .... - Will pay for 1 high school sport at Edison - Will most likely pay for the consumable fees and parking pas for 1 Edison high student - will buy new tires for the Edison high student who has to drive to school - will partially pay for the car insurance for the Edison high student who has to drive to school

I guess 57 cents a day does buy some things that are not required in other school districts in the area.

Vote it down, they are a sneaky school district and have continually put the KIDS last.

I flat out don't believe that you would have to go without food or meds if this levy passed. Shame on you for betraying the children who have learned by now that their community does not support or prioritize their education. How can you expect growth? Being old is no excuse for giving up on your community and its future.

Everyone in the Edison District needs to get out and Vote...

This issue needs to be decided by the MAJORITY of the voters from the district...

We need to have 100% of the voters get out an vote on May 6th...

The question is : Who will make it to the polls??

How about using an old remedy for this problem. Go to the polls and vote out the members of the board that keep putting this up for vote.

I agree Lawrence, how many thousand have they spent putting this up for vote? As I heard our State Rep Andy Thomas say we waste our money sending it to Public schools it will either go to higher wages or more benefits.
