Here, let me help:

americanlibertypac(dot)com/2014/03/hhs-claims-it-lacks-statutory-authority-to-extend-obamacare-sign-up-deadline/

Michael Hash, who directs the Office of Health Reform at HHS, replied that the law states that the HHS secretary must set the open enrollment dates by June 2012, which Secretary Sebelius did. “Once that 2014 open enrollment period has been set, they are set permanently,”

forbes(dot)com/sites/jeffreydorfman/2014/03/08/obama-administrations-lawlessness-finally-hits-home-with-investors/

A list of all the actions taken by the Obama administration that break or stretch the law is long. There are so many they can be grouped into categories: Obamacare actions, recess appointments, non-enforcement of existing laws, and participation in actions that break laws.

Most famously President Obama has now made over twenty executive changes to Obamacare that are not allowed under a plain reading the law.

One thing I say and be sincere about it, is that I do respect you passions and opinions. Not too many would admit that, but forums like this makes one research AND realize that there can be other facts that get jaded on both sides. With that said, lets see what happens in November. In my honest opinion the elections can go either way. From now until election time the ACA (success or failure) will be the key IN ADDITION TO HATING OBAMA. That is what politicians will run on.

Hagrid: Did you find that law that Bush violated yet? If not, time to retract your claim.

I do not feel Bush broke a law just as I don't feel Obama broke a law EXTENDING the pharmacy implementation OR the ACA implementation. Regardless of how you put it, tax or not, the supreme court ruled on it and that made it legal and so my friend NO LAWS WERE BROKEN ANYWHERE (BUSH OR OBAMA). If only fox and limboy would see that. Can't forget history to condemn another in the present.

The Supreme Court said Obamacare was a tax. The Obama administration was emphatic that it was not a tax. Please explain, eb.

RPG YOU: So what if Bush extended a drug program? Americans won't be "fined" if they don't have drug coverage.

Sooooo the black man broke the law extending ACA sign-up a few days AND IF YOU AND I RECALL...THE SUPREME COURT RULED THAT IT WAS CONSTITUTIONAL. Soooooo what else you got? Sounds like a double standard to me.

EB, you are the guy claiming the plight of the world is because of a man that left office a long time ago. So what if Bush extended a drug program? Americans won't be "fined" if they don't have drug coverage. Did Bush author the program and then alter the law as he went along? Did Bush delay employer involvement until after the mid-term elections? And what is your obsession with fox news? I don't get any talking points from them. Answer this and be honest. Would CNN, MSNBC, or NBC even have reported Benghazi? Fast and Furious? Solyndra? Don't know about you but I don't like it when an ambassador is assassinated along with his entire security detail and the president has a US citizen arrested for making a video in response. I dislike when he is directly involved with the death of a border patrol agent so he can justify strict gun control laws. I dislike that he gave money to his bundlers and they claimed bankruptcy and never repaid the "loan" they got.

eb: "I don't have to prove what you already don't want to know"

If I didn't want to know, I wouldn't keep asking.

If you would provide the proof, I wouldn't have to keep asking.

Pretty simple, eh?

"Get over it, it did happen... "

Then why is it so hard for you to prove it? It seems like an impossible task for you. HELLO.

STILL waiting.....

eb: "Stand up and be an individual thinker"

eb, you crack me up.

It is you who posted a link to "thinprogress", correct?

"I said that if Obama broke the law with ACA, BUSH ALSO BROKE THE LAW AND VIOLATED THE CONSTITUTION EXTENDING THE PRESCRIPTION DRUG PROGRAM."

And we are STILL waiting for you to provide proof that Bush broke a law. We have the text of Obamacare. All we need is for you to provide the text of the law showing a deadline, in the law, that Bush violated.

Being that you have yet to support a single one of your claims, I doubt you can support this one either.

We keep asking, you keep avoiding. Very telling, eb.

"In your mind you don't want to remember that Bush extended the perscription drug program from a may deadline to a december deadline."

I do remember. I also remember the Dems forced that, and we've yet to see proof a law was broken. Still waiting on your proof, eb.

Hagrid - ry, will you? Please don't leave folks thinking you are a dolt. All you have to do is show us the law that you claim Bush violated. Can you do that? If not, you are simply making stuff up.

In your mind you don't want to remember that Bush extended the perscription drug program from a may deadline to a december deadline. If fox/rushboy did not mention it, you believe it did not happen. I don't have to prove what you already don't want to know. You want to provide you with the references because it bothers you to see truth in front of you. Get over it, it did happen...

I said that if Obama broke the law with ACA, BUSH ALSO BROKE THE LAW AND VIOLATED THE CONSTITUTION EXTENDING THE PRESCRIPTION DRUG PROGRAM. What is so complicated about that? Oh I forgot, fox nor limbaugh said bush broke any laws doing so.

Fast and Furious?

Benghazi?

Solyndra?

The IRS scandal?

Obamacare, including changes to the program?

Echobravo, let me remind you that Bush left office 5 years ago. I didn't vote for Bush. I'm not blindly devoted to the Republican party. I disagree with socialism/communism. I disagree with ruling via executive order. I disagree with walking guns into Mexico with the intent that they will be used by bad people to kill good people.

The Post article said Byrd (DEMOCRAT) said it did not go far enough, correct?

The second is a far left site. Still waiting for you to show where what Bush did (after pressure from the Dems, as your own link proved) was in opposition to law, as Obama's 36 actions are.

Can you do that?

eb, you Didn't provide your source. Is it because it is a far-left site?

While you are providing your source, we need some additional information.

Can you provide evidence that the Medicare Part D deadline was written into law, as the Obamacare deadline was?

Are you aware that it was the DEMOCRATS who pushed for that extension, and Bush was against it?

" BUT HIS POWER OF THE PEN IS WORKING OUT JUST FINE"

So, you are against our Constitution. eb, you just keep racking up a lot of very negative traits.

"HE HAS NOT REACHED HIS LAW BREAKING EXECUTIVE ORDER SIGNING YET TO CATCH BUSH AND REAGAN."

OK. Run with it. Give us PROOF. From reliable sources, please.

"WHERE WERE THE REPUBLICANS WHEN OTHER PRES WERE SIGNING EXECUTIVE ORDERS."

You may not know this (did you read the link I provided you?), but executive orders are approved by the Constitution. What is NOT allowed by executive order is changing law. That is Congress's job.

RPG - Blaming Bush (a man that left office 5 years ago) is very weak. Obama is the man in charge now. Start being critical of him, he is the one running the nation into the dirt now. YOU AND OTHER ACCUSE OBAMA OF BREAKING THE BY EXTENDING THE DEADLINE DATE. BUSH IS BEING COMPARED TO OBAMA FOR THE SAME THING. GET OVER IT. I AM VERY CRITICAL OF OBAMA, BECAUSE HE WILL NOT STAND UP TO THE REPUBLICANS, BUT HIS POWER OF THE PEN IS WORKING OUT JUST FINE. HE HAS NOT REACHED HIS LAW BREAKING EXECUTIVE ORDER SIGNING YET TO CATCH BUSH AND REAGAN. DON'T PICK AND CHOOSE WHAT LAWS YOU THINK ARE BROKEN. WHERE WERE THE REPUBLICANS WHEN OTHER PRES WERE SIGNING EXECUTIVE ORDERS.

The Obama administration will announce on Wednesday that individuals who had experienced difficulty signing up for the Affordable Care Act will still be able to enroll in insurance after the March 31st deadline and obtain coverage until mid-April. The move, the latest in a series of administration efforts to simply the enrollment process following a rocky rollout, echoes the Bush administration’s 2006 decision to help seniors enlist in Medicare Part D after the official enrollment deadline. In May of 2006, just days before the end of open enrollment, President Bush took administrative action towaive “penalty fees for very low-income seniors and people with disabilities who sign up late” and allowed “the same impoverished beneficiaries to sign up for Medicare drug coverage until Dec. 31.” “In other words, you can apply after May 15th without penalty,” Bush told seniors during an event in Florida. “And that’s important for low-income seniors to understand.”
