Already.... As well, why are we hiring a team of state auditors for $70,000 when we just hired a new city manager for $90 plus thousand and haven't even given him a chance to get his hands dirty? Come on!! With a resume like Johnson's, shouldn't he be able to make some of these assessments on his own instead of PAYING dearly with our money? Oh but let's give council raises right? That's what your charter review wants. Suggs is right and so was your city mgr let the current outsourced (through the state) auditor finish their $60,000 job before paying even more money to UNDERSTAND current policy. Get to work generating revenue instead of spending monies we just don't have!!! Please.

Wow what an impressive résumé! Can you explain why we are spending an additional $70,000 when our water fund is in the red, just ensured a rate increase and the annual audit hasn't even started yet. These 2 councilmen just took office, absolutely no way you can tell me they have pulled all available reports, policies, and spoken to necessary parties before coming to the conclusions they have alre

Why doesn't council listen to Mr.Johnson? Do know what he has degrees in if not then go to the city of steubenville website and read . 1982 graduate of the University of Akron obtaining a B.S. degree in Accounting. He is a CPA and for the past 26 years has worked for the Massachusetts Department of Revenue where he currently holds the position of Deputy Director of Income-Based Taxes in the Multistate Audit Bureau. He sits on the Finance, Planning, and Buildings & Grounds committees. I doa think the man knows what he is talking about. He is not some flunky from Steubenville .

I like the way Mr Walsh thinks...

Put the Convicts, in thier orange jump suits out there, collecting trash, and see what the neighbors think about that! Wonderful :)

They make the 'bad kids' do thier execises all over the City, run up and down my street all the time, so, why not Convicts working outdoors to air out thier differences with us law abiding people?

It would give those three day offenders for drunk driving, something to do... (Or, did they quit giving drunks three days, since the Mayor never served his tour of duty in the pokey?). Im betting Fred Abdallah would throw a fit, if he had to let prisoners out to do 'community work', and have his deputies out there, supervising them all day, with the chance of escape of getting hurt in some fashion.

Prisioers? They would probably love to get out and stretch thier legs for a bit, and have a chance at escaping LOL... Oh well... It was worth a thought :)

I wish you well...
