It laughable in the Buena Vista Subdivision. People have empty driveways yet they park in the street. If I was driving the plow through this neighborhood, I would have destroyed a few vehicles. Something needs to be done about this. People just lack common sense these days, maybe if you put a $100 ticket on their vehicle they might wise up. Give the people driving the plows a break and park in your driveway, if you don't have one fine. At least most of the obstacles will be off the road.

@Loosie Come on be serious! This is Steubenville, if they had access to a garage they'd use it! Further homeowners do not have to pay to salt the city's sidewalks. I won't do it, I adamantly refuse. I'm not comfortable in any sense with my children walking through the ice so I drive them back and forth. If parents are that worried about it then they can take their children to school. What parent would send their child out into a dangerous situation anyway? I agree with you that Hollywood Blvd is a nightmare but again instead of making my trips a nightmare I avoid driving on that road. I go around, maybe you should consider that also. People make such mountains out of every single little mole hill these days.

There are quit a few streets in Steubenville where the residents have driveways and garages and do not park in or on them. But one of the worst to drive in any weather is Hollywood Blvd. that is the worst street to try to drive on. To many cars on the street parked .The winter is totally ridiculous. I am talking about from the bottom to the top of Hollywood. Have you ever tried to drive on Sundays on Hollywood? When the church up the road lets out its a free for all on who gets to drive on the street.Sidewalks are never cleaned to walk on either. Yes, there are a few houses that do clear the sidewalks but overall they are covered with snow and ice. Kids have to walk to and from school in the road that goes for sunset by McDonald's also. How dangerous is that?
