December 22, 2013

To the editor: Recent tea letters have been foolish lies and, for the lack of a more gentle term, freakishly stupid....

“Our culture has accepted two huge lies. The first is that if you disagree with someone’s lifestyle, you must fear or hate them. The second is that to love someone means you agree with everything they believe or do. Both are nonsense. You don’t have to compromise convictions to be compassionate.”

- Rick Warren

Huckabe, Kruz, Jindal, any would be fantastic. Ryan was up there, but his decision to put veterans' pensions cuts at the top rather than near the tail end of budget cuts makes me uneasy. Maybe it was the only way to get dems to make a budget, I don't know.

While I don't believe a poll this early really matters. A poll has 48% for Christie and 45% for Hildabeast for president in 2016.

I doubt Christie will get the nomination. one big problem for him in two words ( gun control ) Hildabeast is not a shoe in but a good possibility. What do the readers think?

RPG, be careful. You might jinx the valley.

I'm sure there are a couple of reasonable liberals here who can debate reasonably and factually.

There just isn't too much they can honestly support, with Fast & Furious, Benghazi, Obamacare, a horrible economy, rapidly climbing national debt, Iran working towarding nuclear weapons, China growing stronger, and administration's disasterous foreign policy, NSA spying on innocent Americans, our allies mad at us.

Did I miss anything?

Hagrid It would appear that the only liberal that was siding with Bob ( under many different names ) has went and got himself banned again. Maybe Mavrick and EB can step in in his place. They debate better anyway.

Hurrah! The people's voices were heard. Good Christian beliefs and standards were upheld.

I'm very glad, as I truly missed watching the show. Although A&E's apology was barely an apology, I understand the corner they had painted themselves into, and how they had to maneuver a way out. They did what they had to do to abide by the wishes of thier viewers. To do otherwise would have been a disaster for them.

It has been five days since Bob posted his letter about conservatives here posting foolish lies here. I had asked for evidence of these claims. So far, not a single foolish lie has been exposed.

Can we now consider Bob's claim false?

Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity replacing liberal radio? Can any of our liberal friends explain this? First Air America, now this.

Liberal Commercial Talk Radio Disappears in NYC, LA, SF in 2014...

truthrevolt(dot)org/news/liberal-commercial-talk-radio-disappears-ny-la-sf-2014

2014 will mark the beginning of a massive change for liberal talk radio across the country. In New York, WWRL 1600 AM will flip to Spanish-language music and talk, throwing Ed Schultz, Thom Hartmann, Randi Rhodes, and Alan Colmes off the air. In Los Angeles, KTLK 1150 will be dumping Stephanie Miller, Rhodes, Bill Press and David Cruz off the air in favor of Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. In San Francisco, KNEW 960 will leave Miller, Hartmann, and Mike Malloy without a radio home in the market.

New ObamaCare fees coming in 2014...

nypost(dot)com/2013/12/25/new-obamacare-fees-coming-in-2014/

WASHINGTON — Here comes the ObamaCare tax bill.

The cost of President Obama’s massive health-care law will hit Americans in 2014 as new taxes pile up on their insurance premiums and on their income-tax bills.

Most insurers aren’t advertising the ObamaCare taxes that are added on to premiums, opting instead to discretely pass them on to customers while quietly lobbying lawmakers for a break.

But one insurance company, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama, laid bare the taxes on its bills with a separate line item for “Affordable Care Act Fees and Taxes.”

The new taxes on one customer’s bill added up to $23.14 a month, or $277.68 annually, according to Kaiser Health News. It boosted the monthly premium from $322.26 to $345.40 for that individual.

Strange. This seems to be at odds to the letter. The poll is from CNN.

CNN POLL: GOP takes significant edge for midterms...

politicalticker.blogs.cnn(dot)com/2013/12/26/cnn-poll-gop-has-edge-in-early-midterm-indicator/

Democrats have lost their advantage and Republicans now have a slight edge in the battle for control of Congress, according to a new national poll.

A CNN/ORC International survey released Thursday also indicates that President Barack Obama may be dragging down Democratic congressional candidates, and that the 2014 midterm elections are shaping up to be a low-turnout event, with only three in 10 registered voters extremely or very enthusiastic about voting next year.

Both. But why did you lie and claim this was the Tea Party?

Shameful again, core.

:The responses are just more rantings ,half-truths and personal derogatory remarks."

Is calling our nation a democracy a half-truth?

What about the myth that we would have defaulted on our debt?

Are mouthman & haggard personal derogatory remarks?

"Agree | Disagree

I did not at any time call any individual a name"

Is that what one would call a LIE?

"vitriolic people who try to win a debate by talking loud & long & repeating lies"

The only lies here, unfortuantely, are yours.

You talk about lies, but have not provided a shread of evisence to support your claim.

Why do liberals always expect so much more from others than they are willing to do themselves?

No Core, you claimed that Kenny Chesney fans are mostly conservatives. I'd wager that most Kenny Chesney fans (mostly young women) probably either do not know, do not care, or do not vote.

So far, screwd claims to know our Constitution, but doesn't know America is not a democracy.

Although the Tea Party was right on about Obamacare, he says they are the stupid ones.

When asked to tell us what they got wrong, he has no answers.

Guess we now know it is not the Tea Party who are stupid.
