GOP should stand for something

November 17, 2013

I specified the last 80 years for a reason, you are correct. 80 years is a decent lifetime, the time of our parents/grandparents, recent history. I could have went back 500 years for arguments sake and in that time, no Christians have started a war, committed genocide, mass murder, etc. following the word of God (the Bible), for the advancement of Christianity. However, islam, has started nearly every major conflict of the last 30 years or so for the advancement of their religion. They strap their children with explosives to kill Americans, infidels, anyone opposed to their religion.

I don't think you want to understand. Regardless of how you state sanity/insanity. There is no justification for killing. You can't pick and choose verses out of any religious book to condemn it. I see all religions are about love and peace. Anyone outside of that is not acting per that religion INCLUDING CHRISTIANS which there are. You are blinded by your hate for the Muslim/Islam culture and nothing more. You were very careful to specify a time frame that Christians were not in the news for mass murder, but it existed regardless what time and place in history. Stop promoting your selective hate.

Amen great post and it is true. That really ticks them off, ya notice? GOP has come down to the Grumpy Old Peoples party. The ACA has been working great in the states that set up an exchange like they were asked. Kentucy of all places (home of Mitch and Rand Paul) has been one of the best. The Republican ruled states that refused to set up an exchange or expand medicaid are only hurting their own people just to spite Obama.

The Koran directly states several commands to KILL infidels (any and all non muslims) The bible might give a story of killing people or sacking cities but it does not call people of the faith to kill to fulfill their obligation to their religion. Your example fails miserably. Your cries of racism are even worse.

EB you either did not understand the question or you failed miserably once again. Here is my exact question:"Give me one, just one example, where a Christian that is not mentally ill and/or does not harbor a distorted interpretation of Christianity, acted on the word of God, (the teachings in or from the Bible) killed a person or committed mass murder in the name of Christ in the recent past.(in the last 80 years or so)." You responded with people that kill abortion doctors. Where in the word of God does it mention abortion doctors, and killing them. I can name many verses in the Koran that call for the murder of non muslims, it makes up almost 1/5 of the wretched book.

HERE IS MY ANSWER. It's pretty simple, but your unwillingness to want to understand and make it something else clearly demonstrates your close mindedness. ANYONE (Christian or any other) that kills abortion doctors in the name of religion is a murderer for that religion. If a christian killed like that, YOU call them mentally ill. That is no different than an mentally ill muslim killing. Quit defending something that you can't defend. So called christians in America teach their children to be racist. You are letting your hatred get the best of you. Get over it.

Islam is the most wretched, evil, entity on the planet it is directly responsible for nearly every major conflict and war started in the past 30 years. Their religion promotes pedophilia, domestic violence, and murder. They teach their children to cause more acts of violence. They strap their children with bombs and put them on busses to kill other children. The blood of thousands of people is on the hands of islam.

Still waiting on that answer EB.

EB, the Koran commands muslims to subjugate all non muslims, to treat them as second class citizens, and to tax them. If they fail to pay the tax, they are to be killed. I suggest that you read "Religion of peace:why Christianity is and islam isn't" By Robert Spencer.

RPG - Here is your partner in forum concerning his sell of fox. It can be far more watched, but is it always truthful and factual? That has not been proven to not be the case.

Heres Hagrid's endorsement: You really should find more reliable sources, like, the far most watched cable news network, Fox News.

RPG - I guess you could use the same analogy with islam in the context you stated below.

Echobravo, Jews are not Christians, they are Jews! LOL!!! Give me one, just one example, where a Christian that is not mentally ill and/or does not harbor a distorted interpretation of Christianity, acted on the word of God, (the teachings in or from the Bible)

EB you, like Core, cannot do that. Why? Because such an example doe not exist.

Don't know where you got the stats on the 99% of violence in the world from, but how do you classify Christian violence in the world. Remember Christians are catholics, protestants, jews, orthodox, etc. Christians kill in the name of Christianity, some thinking its justified (i.e. Abortion bombings, killing, KKK,etc.)

You assumed my comment was toward only you, I think not and you should know that.

You want civility yet you call people "nuts?" Don't make much sense do you?

Also, you where did I call someone a "libtard?"

Furthermore, speaking the truth about islam and muslims is not being offensive, it is stating the truth. Islam is directly responsible for 99% of the violence on planet Earth today.

So now there is a standard that applies only to certain individuals? Libertard is very offensive on many levels. Bashing of Muslims is also offensive. You and others do reference fox on several occasions, but perhaps not in this posting.

I do believe there should be civility here and have stated such on several occasions.

Echobravo, I strongly caution you against calling anyone a "nut." Have you noticed that about 2/3 of the posts and those that posted them have been deleted?

Anyway, show me one post, just one where I quoted fox news? I bet you can't do it.

RPG - I don't have a fascination with Fox. It appears that most of your posters here can ONLY reference fox in trying to make a point even though some of their reporting has been proven false or half true. No fascination, but how much the posters rely on them and drug boy, as well as other right wing nuts.

MCain and McConnell reached across the isle and got the knife stuck in their back. Dingy Harry played them.

THESE CLOWNS ARE SO IRRELEVANT AS THEY HAVE LET THE TEA PARTY DICTATE ALL THE AGENDA. How do you justify HALF of all filibusters in congressional history to one administration? GOP should worry more about moral issues (convicted coke head) within its party. Anyone else would have gotten 10 years. Go figure..

Sorry I hit "post comment" before I was done.

I suppose a pessimistic, socialist, non-achiever, reliant on the government for his/her personal well being who restricts his/her ( not sure core is male) sources of information to bad news sources only, might ignore the failure of the liar in chief. It would be hard for me to ignore facts that contradict my views, but I suppose that works for core. Sad.

Already did. With reliable, verifiable sources.

Have you gone to ****trivisonno****?

Wrong. AGAIN.

Please show us where people enrolled in welfare are down under Obama's 5+ years, or even the SAME as when Bush left office. Can you do that?

Food stamp president: Enrollment up 70 percent under Obama

"Enrollment in the food stamp program — officially the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program — has soared by 70 percent in the years since President Obama first took office, a new report finds."

Glad to help.
