What happened to America?

November 10, 2013

To the editor: This is fact — life is not a game, and we are not the trinkets that are moved around the board at the discretion of the players....

Core, the biggest issue with the memorial shutdown was that it cost more money to shut them down and kep people away than it did to keep them open. Obumjob and his liberal idiot army wanted to give the appearance that the world was falling apart so he had to spend more money to make it appear so. Slavery and Jim Crow laws were the product of democrats, not republicans. Still to this day the lib/dems are the true racists in this country. Finally, the poorest Americans had healthcare. Now because of Obamacare, the poorest working Americans can't afford healthcare anyway, so they will get fined, and those that paid the bills all along are now going to pay more. Obama accomplished what he sought out to do, destroy America one baby step at a time.

Don't forget the liar in chief obungler's destruction of the US Military. liar in chief has fired more generals that most of the presidents combined and is attempting to replace them with far left progressives. Service Chaplains being court martialed for doing their job and praying and holding services for the troops.

Firt - FOR YOU SO CALLED CHRISTIANS. Sodom and Gomorrah is what happened to America. It has sold it soul for material things.

Moteman - The military law is that YOU CANNOT PROMOTE your faith, but you can practice your faith. Its that simple. ITS NOT A CHRISTIAN ONL MILITARY.

INTOLERANCE is also what's wrong with America. You all have made it political, but fail to look within yourselves to see its more moral (lack of) than political. With that mindset, America is destroying herself because the people accept the non moral standard.

EB, Sodom and Gomorrah is what happened but not the way you see it. It had nothing to do with greed as you say, it has everything to do with moral decline and being forced by the law to accept things that are morally unacceptable.

RPG- It is as I see it. Greed and hoarding of wealth is a sin. Americans (not all) have come to a point that their wealth is more important than the people and they will do whatever to keep it. Let's keep is real. What is the big argument? Taking care of the poor but keeping all your money at the same time. Americans have lost its humbleness.

Echobravo, what is wealth? Wealth is earned. If I worked my butt off to buy a BMW, it is mine, it is not greedy to do so. If I buy a home, it is not greed. For every dollar I earned, I have traded a certain amount of my time on earth to get. If I choose to put it into a pile and burn it while roasting hotdogs, so be it. If the lazy, good for nothing, drug addicted, constantly multiplying, welfare slobs starve because they are too lazy to feed their own, that isn't my problem either. IMO, taking money you did not earn is not only theft, it is GREED, because you did nothing to earn it, but take it from a guy that worked to get it, depriving his family.

Then you speak about being humble EB. Being humble is being happy for what you have, that even though you don't have a large home with walk in closets, and a new truck, you don't take away from your own family and people that depend on you to get it. That you don't flaunt what you have to intentionally hurt others. Poor people can be humble too. To them I offer this advice, be humble, get off the Iphone, or xbox, out from in front of the cable TV, refuse the food stamps, and go get a JOB! Work you****off, move, up, get a job in management, and give others a chance by hiring them.

Keeping what you earned is not greed.

Wanting to take what orhers have earned IS.

Just as I said. From the postings, some of you try to justify keeping their worldly possession and all their wealth. No human has asked you to do that, but through your Christian teachings, it said help the poor, not judge them for what they may have as what was observed. Now you have just answered what is wrong with America. People hiding behind a coined phrase of "A Nation of Christian Values", truly its the lack of. Remember, point one finger at someone has three of your own pointing back at you..

EB, I see you have read Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals." It is another Obama favorite. One of the principle tactics outlined in the book is to "beat them over the head with their own virtue." Translation: you don't believe the bullspit you are spewing, it is just a radical leftist tactic used by people that don't have a leg to stand on.

Not one sentence in RPG0340 post is true, just a lot of lies. I don't even read valleyjerk's as he doesn't know anything. he calls the president "OBUMA" and RPG. calls him "OBUMJOB" and MOTEGIRL CALLS HIM "obungler". That is what they learn by watching that F-word channel.

Ah..... YEAH.

And do with as you wish. God Bless America!

"but through your Christian teachings, it said help the poor, not judge them for what they may have as what was observed. "

EB, do you understand the tremendous difference between giving of one's own free will, and having it taken from you? You seem to be confusing the two.

In America, we should be allowed to give as we wish, not have the government decide our money should go for cell phones, etc.

And there you have it folks. Blame the government for your Christian (lack of) values. Perhaps if politicians governed by the Christian values they claim, this country would not be in the state it is in. Ordinary people let corporations dictate laws that benefit them and not the people due to their bottom lines. What's sad is that some of the poorest people side with these big companies and do not benefit at all, yet will give their money to them thinking they care about them. For some of these people it will only take one catastrophic incident and you will be where the people you bash are.

Core, I forgot to answer your earlier post. Those people that went to the WWII memorial were not "Tea Party Loons" as you say. They were WWII vets! Ever hear of the "honor flight" program? They fly vets from their home city to see their memorial in DC. How dare you call them loons.

Echobravo, I'm not understanding your so called understanding of conservatives. Just because a person is a conservative does not automatically make them a Christian. I really want to know how you reached that conclusion. Furthermore, "socialism" is not "Applied Christianity" as you and most progressives believe.

RPG- You nailed it. Don't call yourself a conservative running on a platform that is clearly not true. If whomever wants to govern, then govern on a basis of separation of church and state (i.e. abortion, gay issues). If they are to govern morally, then don't ride the fence on it.

As far as the looney tunes. It was not the WWII Veterans, it was the clowns Cruz,Palin, and the other Jack*** representative trying to exploit the GOVERNMENT THEY SHUT DOWN. I guess you agreed with cruz and his foolish plan..

wow, EB. Are you related to core?

Can you tell me what "Christian values" I'm lacking, and why you would think so?

"From the postings, some of you try to justify keeping their worldly possession and all their wealth."

Wrong. Some of us feel we are better at giving to those in need than the government is. Why is that a bad thing?

"Ordinary people let corporations dictate laws that benefit them and not the people due to their bottom lines."

EB, if you don't like the way a corporation does buisness, don't give them your money. It is quite simple. And stop whining.

"yet will give their money to them thinking they care about them."

No, they give them money because they want their products and services. Period.

" For some of these people it will only take one catastrophic incident and you will be where the people you bash are."

"exploit the GOVERNMENT THEY SHUT DOWN."

If you watched Fox News, you would know that the Republicans proposed several options to keep the government running. The dems refused to negotiate at all.

The Tea Party tried to stop the trainwreck that is Obamacare. As is abundantly clear, they were absolutely right.

Shame on you, EB, for belittling the veterans who wanted access to their memorial, and tose who assisted them. SHAME.

Isn't this, ah, DISHONEST?

Administration tally to include those who have not yet purchased plans...

washingtonpost(dot)com/blogs/wonkblog/wp/2013/11/11/who-counts-as-an-obamacare-enrollee-the-obama-administration-settles-on-a-definition/?print=1

The fight over how to define the new health law’s success is coming down to one question: Who counts as an Obamacare enrollee?

Health insurance plans only count subscribers as enrolled in a health plan once they’ve submited a payment. That is when the carrier sends out a member card and begins paying doctor bills.

When the Obama administration releases health law enrollment figures later this week, though, it will use a more expansive definition. It will count people who have purchased a plan as well as those who have a plan sitting in their online shopping cart but have not yet paid.

Easy to say something is a lie. Harder to prove it. As core has found over and over.

Tell us what GOP lie I spread.

But please try. You are fun to watch.
