Take from those who earned it and give it to those who did not.

What you forgot to tell everyone is way before Reagan and George Bush there was Lyndon Johnson. Who took all the pennies out of the jar replaced them with IOUs and used that money for his social programs ( expanding welfare ) and the war in Vietnam.

The jar has had only a promise in it since and obungler is doing his best to cut it as much as possible. obungler stopped COLAS for three years then obungler changed the way COLAs were calculated, so the most we will see now is 1.5% and then obungler raised the welfare benefits by 20%. That seems fair screw over the people who paid into the fund for all those years and give it to lazy worthless bums that won't ever put a penny in the jar.
