Due to the multiple domestic violence calls to police and the June arrest shouldn't there have been an order of protection filed with the court barring them from being around one another? We don't know the whole story, she very well could have been defending herself. This man has been arrested due to domestic violence more than once and once even for violating a protection order. This is exactly why the state needs to pick up charges when the victims of domestic violence want to dismiss their claims. I thought there was a law about the third domestic violence charge requiring prison time, maybe someone else would know the laws better than I..

I lived in the 1400 block of Wellesley Aenue in the 40's 50's and 60's. Back then it was safe and a pretty good environment. So sad to see what has happened to that neighborhood. I visited recently, and the atmosphere on Wellesley, Oregon and some of the other streets was threatening. I left as fast as I could. What a shame, and what a blight on Steubenville.
