October 27, 2013

To the editor: Has anyone reading this tried logging onto the Obamacare website? How many tries did it take? The one thing on which this insanely spendthrift administration didn’t blow billions in......

The advantages of the ACA are clear to me: Unlimited healthcare coverage - no maximum, No denial for pre-existing conditions, Keeping your kids on your policy until they are 26, Free wellness, blood, and preventative care with no co-pay required, etc., and the list goes on and on. The website will be fixed and Obamacare will become part of the American healthcare scene just like Medicare did in 1965.

Debray, they will find out soon enough. Like my buddy just said the other day, soon there will be more people riding in the wagon than pulling it, and that isn't going to work. Very, very soon, the 49% that are shouldering the burden for the other 51% are going to become fed up, and they will shut it down.

Most Americans understand that the computer glitches will be cleared up and are willing to wait until it it fixed. It took 50 years to make universal healthcare into law so we can certainly wait a few months to get the program running smoothly. It would have been nice if the Repugnants had helped with the transition that the majority of Americans wanted, but, as usual, they chose to throw roadblocks and insults in the way. They just can't help themselves, can they?

Maryjo forgets, that the "Repugnants" who she wishes "had helped with the transition that the majority of Americans wanted, but, as usual, they chose to throw roadblocks and insults in the way", were excluded, literally locked out, from all meetings, discussions and input on the Obamacare bill. She also forgets that, in April 2010, polls showed that 70% of Americans opposed socialized medicine. Maryjo is one the g;azed-smiled, empty-eyed Obamaniacs.

Obmacare has never been popular but our arrogant legislators here in Ohio voted for it anyway even thought 60+% were against it. Charlie lost his house seat because he disregarded the wishes of his constituents. Sherrod Brown will be next in 2016. The Senate couldn't overcome obamacare filibuster so Dingy Harry slid it in the back door through reconciliation, which some say was illegal. Maryjo is wrong as wrong can be.

Maryjo, your claim is in opposition to the recent polls and surveys. Can you give us a reliable and unbiased source for your claim?

Otherwise, we will just chalk it up to liberal talking points with no basis.

BushCrimeFamily, I'm not sure why I bother, but here is a link to dozens of Republican jobs bills:

BushCrimeFamily, I offer you the same challange. Can you provide us with reliable and unbiased links to support your claims?

Otherwise, the rest of us will understand they are just as rediculous as the jobs one.

You should be ashamed of yourself for spouting such lies.

PAPER: Middle class gets Obamacare sticker shock...

Thousands of Californians are discovering what Obamacare will cost them — and many don't like what they see.

These middle-class consumers are staring at hefty increases on their insurance bills as the overhaul remakes the healthcare market. Their rates are rising in large part to help offset the higher costs of covering sicker, poorer people who have been shut out of the system for years.

Although recent criticism of the healthcare law has focused on website glitches and early enrollment snags, experts say sharp price increases for individual policies have the greatest potential to erode public support for President Obama's signature legislation.

The website does have problems, agreed, Mr. Denham. But I disagree on the "something which any pre-teen computer enthusiast can do" comment. You really don't have a clue. is a very complex multi-layer platform many times more difficult than Google or Facebook...which have also had their share of outages. Internet users have all experienced slow or down sites. They will try again later or use one of the other 3 ways of access. Have some patience. Regards.

Bknees, there are major differences between, and yahoo, or google. That big difference is that a person will not be fined for not using either google or yahoo.

" is a very complex multi-layer platform many times more difficult than Google or Facebook...which have also had their share of outages."

Got proof?

Google has about 500 million active users, and about 90 million hits a day. It does not crash like Healthcaredotorg. Don't have the numbers, but I'll bet it didn't cost $500 million plus to create.

(Why is it that liberals never bother to fact check what they say and post?)

"When one puts one's hypocrisy on display so proudly, it just has to be cheered. Bravo, Hagrid. Bravo!"

LOL What part of "I don't have the numbers" confuses you, core? I'd guess that honesty is not something you are familiar with.

I think my number is a pretty good guess. But feel free to give us better numbers. I love facts.

Got any?

Oh, and have you found proof to back your claim that Ughanda has laws promoting violence against gays? We have been waiting quite a while.

Or should we just chalk it up to another of your lies?

Can you tell us what phone number you used? CNN was unable to buy healthcare over the phone number given by the administration. They used the official number given out by Obama.

"Hagrid, what part of brazen hypocrisy didn't you understand?

You made a statement without bothering to check to see if it was accurate, and then criticized liberals for not checking to see if their statements are accurate.

For the record, your guess is correct."

Man, you just can't make up stuff this good.

"When they were ready for expansion, they issued an IPO to raise the funds they needed - $4 billion!"

core, are you trying to say that Google spent $4 billion for their web site? If so, you are either lying, or confused. My guess on that is probably even more accurate than my guess on what Google paid for their web site.

Your double-talk may fool liberals, but you are trying to fool a conservative. Ain't gonna work.

core, what part of "I don't have the numbers" confuses you? I am glad you admit, even without sources, my hunches are correct.

But I'm sure you can prove me wrong.

Oh, by the way. Here's your answer to your false claim against Castle. Republicans had to take Obama's private meetings to court. And they WON.

I'm not sure why you couldn't research it before making a fool of yourself. Regardless, you can apologize to Castle now.

"He said the dems had locked out the Republicans from discussions of ACA"

Yes. He was correct, as I just showed.

When it takes winning a federal court case to even get access to the secret meetings Obama had, that does not indicate transparency, as you try to claim.

"Many lobbyists happen to be Republicans."

But not representatives of the people. And very few, I would guess (you do know what a GUESS is), in Planned Parenthood.

Cheny isn't vice president, and Bush is not president now, and this mess is all Obama and the Dems. Try to keep up.

Wake up America! Your president is lying to you. AGAIN.

President Obama repeatedly assured Americans that after the Affordable Care Act became law, people who liked their health insurance would be able to keep it. But millions of Americans are getting or are about to get cancellation letters for their health insurance under Obamacare, say experts, and the Obama administration has known that for at least three years.

Docs resisting ObamaCare

New York doctors are treating ObamaCare like the plague, a new survey reveals.

A poll conducted by the New York State Medical Society finds that 44 percent of MDs said they are not participating in the nation’s new health-care plan.

Another 33 percent say they’re still not sure whether to become ObamaCare providers.

Only 23 percent of the 409 physicians queried said they’re taking patients who signed up through health exchanges.

“This is so poorly designed that a lot of doctors are afraid to participate,” said Dr. Sam Unterricht, president of the 29,000-member organization. “There’s a lot of resistance. Doctors don’t know what they’re going to get paid.”
