Lorraine Your letter rambles on and doesn't make any sense. I still don't know how the NRA affects anything but the Second Amendment.

Some facts for you Lorraine. NRA members are from every political camp. There are more NRA members in Ohio that union members. The Supreme Upheld the individual right to own arms and said states can not take that right away. The NRA could care less about obunglercare or who is in office or who is president as long as the Second Amendment is protected. Lorraine go find the facts.

The minimum wage goes up, cost of products and services go up, inflation gets higher, and they need an increase in minimum wage again. Didn't 4 years of Jimmy Carter teach you anything.

Well stated, Doctormom. It all seems so simple. I keep wondering why so many don't get it.

EB, what do you feel a fair wage would be for flipping burgers, and what will that burger cost at that pay scale? What would that do to the cost of other goods and services? Be honest.

I never said the NRA was looking out for my second amendment rights. By the way, who creates jobs? How many people are able to start businesses? And how much do you want the minimum wage to go up? Should someone who flips hamburgers at McDonalds with less than a high school education make more money than a school teacher who has to have a master's degree to keep her job? Shouldn't professionals who have an education and must continue their education to be current in their jobs get paid more than someone who flips burgers or gets your order wrong at the drive through window? Minimum wage jobs were never developed to be a lifetime job--people were supposed to advance from that minimum wage job, so why don't those burger flippers do a good job and then apply for a management job at their fast food restaurant and then they will get a pay raise. What a thought--work hard and show ambition and you could get promoted and make more money!!!

I thought we were in a third world status during the previous administration and its just carrying over into this one. As far as rich goes. The rich (private sector) is telling all the poor working class that they do not need a higher minimum wage, health insurance, or anything that keeps wages or benefits down. My tax dollars pay for their tax breaks that do not trickle down to us poor working class people. Only idiots believe that the NRA is looking out for their best interest. The 2nd amendment is here to stay.

So you think my second amendment right to legally own a gun should be taken away? Do you know where the government gets the money to fix the roads? It comes from my tax dollars and the tax dollars of all of us who are still fortunate to work in this horrible economy brought about by Obama and the liberals who want to turn us into a third world country with only the rich (government employees) and the poor working class.
