I agree with you. If someone kills another person in cold blood they shouldn't get a second chance at life. The bible says an eye for an eye. There's too much senseless violence these days. This young man's family and friends will be in our prayers. It's always difficult to lose a loved one but especially so under these circumstances.

Also, on the subject of public execution. I believe it should be swift, and brutal. I'd like to see stoning, crucifixion, and hangings. Guilty? Have the bailiff drag him outside to a courtyard where the sentence will be administered. For incidents like this beating death where death was slow and painful, stoning or crucifixion would be fitting. For something like a gunshot to the head, hanging would suffice.
