The Superintendent and the board didn't answer all of our questions. We ask them how much it would cost the district for additional busing. They said they hadn't crunched those numbers. We ask them how much our property value would drop and they said that should be offset by oil and gas revenue. Some of us don't own the rights to our oil and gas. We ask how much longer our kids would be on a bus. The ride now is an hour on overcrowded buses. They won't tell us how much the repairs to the Buchanan building will cost over the same 10 year period as they used for Wayne School. They wouldn't tell us how much it costs to heat Buchanan compared to Wayne. They will never pass another levy if they close Wayne School. Those of us that use to support the levies, won't.
